Recently, I lost a very close friend who I have known since I was 6 yrs old. She was gunned down in our old neighborhood, minding her own business. She walked into a convienience store, soon after a man with a AK-47 walked in and opened fired. A mother of four, and on her way of getting a Bachelors next spring was tken for no reason.

I dont know why I am sharing this, but it helps me to get it out. She was only 39!!!  Im still in shock much like her family and other friends.

Just wanted to share.

I am saddened by your pain, we all don't know how we will leave this world. I will pray for you, and her children.

I don't know what to say. Having worked in law enforcement for many years I'm familiar with senseless violence. From the inside I can see the failures of the system and when it fails innocent lives are lost. Believe me most police officers would like nothing more than to stop it but even if the police had free rein, there would still be innocent lives lost.

Just know that you have my prayers.

You are welcome my friend. There's a correction in the 7th line; please read uninhabitable instead of inhabitable. The error is regretted.

Thank you very much for that. I try my best to be upbeat but its a senseless death, and I miss her deeply. Even though I live in Iceland we kept in touch from time to time. I spoke with her mother and brother and they were glad that I called. Anyway, thank you again for your comment.

It really is a shocking news. I know how you feeling. I know how difficult this must be for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
We are living in a world resembles to an asylum. Each day, people are getting greedy, mean and selfish. They are destructing their own environment, make it inhabitable. Cruelty is on the rise. People killing innocent souls for no reason. What can we do? Let's pray for the departed soul. Please convey my heartfelt condolence to her family.
