Because of the many factors that might affect the relative speed of our economy's recovery, there will be enthusiastic reports that mention even the slightest gains in a few sectors, but give somewhat murky opinions as to why the so-called leave many job seekers ( And Start-Ups) out in the cold, I feel that it's a good idea to include some job-seeking resources in your overall Life Plan...
The problem with jobs and "steady " employment overall, is that "Security " and "Loyalty " plus "Benefits " are no longer a realistic expectation, and you might want to adjust your view to one that says "This Mean Cash "... and make that your only reason to get a job these days.
For those of us who might need the extra cash, but can't even contemplate going into a job... My advice is to catalogue and utilise your creative skills, and get your stuff together for places like Demand Media , Zazzle , Etsy and the like and create several "Part Time " bizzes.
Cash is Good, but remember, Wealth is Better! Your Entrepreneurial Efforts can and will make you smarter and happier for the rest of your Life.
A "Job" simply can't do that.
"Escape From Cubicle Nation " is a great blog and a book, too!
