I agree. That's one of the wonderful things that I've learned here on Apsense - from Cheryl's blogs - concerning the importance of of building relationships - online (as well as offline too)

One of my biggest pet peeves is -- when you do take the time to respond back to someone's advertisement - and respond with personal & friendly notations - just to have your note totally ignored - and then bombarded with the same ad again and again
....
A little automation here and there is good - but -- back to the basics - nice when someone takes the time to respond back in a human way - and not a bot kind of way - each and every time.

I believe that this Twitter thing can be of benefit I have an account also, however I have posted quite a few "Tweets" about an issue that I find a little irritating about it. I use an autoposting program for Twitter also but only 1-3 posts and not everyday. Most of my posts are typed by my own fingers and posted from the heart. A lot of the posts that show up on my home page are from posting services that people are using with links and the posts basically say look at my biz op. Today I posted the question" Any humans out there, just say hi or is everybody going to be a twitterbot today?"

I think it's all so neat -- that - all of us - are able to meet people from all over the world - and keep in touch - no matter where we go... even - without a computer right in front of us. I enjoy keeping in touch with all my old friends, new friends and family - and when on the go -- a little tweet - or sms from one of my social pages.. is rather nice to receive. Nice to know someone is thinking about you!

Heh! If the rules were 'a little' more loose around here I'd share a little farmer saying commonly used for folks who seem to think the term "farmer" is an appropiate insult....

pplcheryl63: This twitter thing is just gargantuan!
It sure is. I've heard that they will by pass Facebook & Myspace once they start incorporating some of the features and applications.
It sure has taken off fast.
