Many of you probably know that I'm active in another social networking community - BetterNetworker.

Evolved from the Magnetic Sponsoring community set up by Mike Dillard (yes, I'm a fan and customer of his ) I've met some terrific folks on there as I have here. And just as my relationships here led me to some cool, helpful folks (you know who you are) that in turn helped my online efforts, so have the folks over on BN.

My own 'Insider Report' was the result of a JV with some of those people (some of whom have now gone on to be huge successes) and now I've been featured in The National Networker, also as a result of those relationships.

The point of telling you this (aside from the fact that I'm quite chuffed and wanted to share my fame, lol) is to prove the point that building relationships with folks and adding value is a great way to build your business. I was a total newbie (still am) when I collaborated on The Insider Report, yet some very big names still stepped up to help out.

And helping out inevitably leads to helping yourself. So get to it and build relationships people.

It couldn't have been said any better. Help yourself by helping others. Those relationship build trust and trust creates sales.

It has been said and said again that is what networking is about. But the problem is getting it to sink in Marketing and networking are two different things. Marketing is about the sale, Networking is about the relationship.
