I just read an article on this on 1.0 The author is pro-cash gifting. I've seen these things around for a long time, was involved in one and got notice from authorities to 'cease and desist'. So I did and nothing further happened. NOW I am confused, it was my understanding that cash gifting programs are nothing but a ponzi scheme which is illegal. The author tried to state income tax rules but could not come up with a specific tax code for someone to check. He just said it is OK with the IRS. I am not sure but I would NOT attempt anything like that again. What do you think?

Thanks for seeing the obvious and putting my mind at ease.

Hi peaceful,

Since I was burned by one of these way back when, my philosophy is 'when it doubt, RUN AWAY ASAP!!'

Hi Cheryl,

Hopefully the scammers ARE reading this thread(but somehow I doubt it) and WE are scaring the heck out of them and maybe they will just leave. I think you monitor those folks pretty tightly on 2.0 but MAYBE they will leave 1.0 but then again I might be hoping for a bit too much.

HI JJ, NO you have not offended anyone here, at least me anyway. You drive the point home that I apparently did NOT make. There ARE NO products/services in a Cash Gifting SCAM. Here is an equaton I just thought up concerning this: Cash Gifting+NO product and/or services+SCAM=ILLEGAL!!

There are a growing number of charity and low cost loan programs that are legitimately based and accepted as such by most countries..." When in doubt, ask the Law to find out..."

Now this is something I find to be very interesting from a marketing stance. And I do want to put in my two cents here:

I honestly don't know how many Cash Gifting programs are out on the market on any given day, but I find it almost disturbing with a sigh of relief, when I hear any one Cash Gifting program explain why what they are doing is legal.

Now, maybe I'm a little off here, but when I heard about Cash Gifting for the first time my contact referred me to a conference call, and on that conference call one of the first things that the moderator brought up and focused on was is Cash Gifting legal or not.

Now, I always thought, especially for first impressions, a company wanted to position themselves as a confident leader.

All in all, here's my stance on Cash Gifting program as a whole:

What's the product? According to what rules I know to be fairly true, any network marketing company or MLM program has to have a visible product or service that they are selling to retail customers.

In conclusion, where are the visible retail products and services for every last Cash Gifting program out on the market?

If offend anyone here, know that as a professional, I am only looking out for your best interests.

Thanks for reading!

JJ

Yeah, honestly, I was pretty close to joining one of those after seeing users of the programs with pictures and videos with thousands and thousands of cash. But I knew there was something slightly off and illegal about it.

Hi djhollins,

after my BAD experience my view is this: if it SMELLS like, WALKS like, TALKS like or ACTS like a SCAM, it probably IS and I RUN from that as FAST as I can. TRUST ME, you DO NOT want the FEDS watching you. It is NO FUN. I am glad that I can pass on my stuff and THAT BENEFITS others by NOT going down a road I took. I just want to help.
