Are you desperate to sign up someone no matter who they are, no matter how long they'll stay in your business, no matter if you connect with them or not, no matter if they are motivated or not?

Most people hate to sell and hate to be sold. Ask yourself when you talk to a prospect if what you are doing is duplicatable. Because if you talk to that person as he/she is a number without really understanding who they are and what they really want, your business will never grow deep.
Your attrition rate will go up and you'll have to replace people over and over again. You are just selling them, you are not building relationships.
There is no emotion involved, no connection, and your team will be looking left and right for the next ''best thing''. When we build a business, our team and us should be friends for life...
People recruit people that don't even want to be in this business, they don't understand it, they are not motivated, they join under pressure and next month they are nowhere to be found...

My good friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy had this to say from his 30 years experience in Network Marketing:

''Are you so desperate you’ll recruit anybody who can fog a mirror?
First, your prospects can smell desperation. You can’t hide it from them, and the good ones will avoid you like the plague.

Second, network marketing is about relationships, not selling. People feel it when you treat them as a number. When you have to build that dream for somebody all by yourself, with very limited help from them, you will spend ALL your time trying to build them a dream.

Be selective about who you want in your business. My mentor, Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, once told me never to sign up someone unless it was a person who I’d want to go on a one-month cruise with. THAT is a very good standard for you. Keep that benchmark in mind each time you talk to prospects. Then you’ll recruit the right people.

Nothing drains your energy faster than trying to help an unmotivated person build a business. Life is just too short to waste all that effort.''

I appreciate you,
Daniela Riess

You do build alot of relationships in network marketing, and it is easy to do. I have signed up many people in my time, and get them motivated to want to do the job that I am doing. The main thing to remember is when you are talking to a prospect, and you tell them that you will help them in anyway that you can, that you do just that. If I don;t hear from my prospect that I signed up into my buisness for a couple days,I call them, and ask them how it is going. They are excited to hear from me,and it is amazing to hear how they are going out,and working their buisness by telling people about it. When we first started with our buisness,we were kind of debating because we are skeptical, but then we did,and we were happy that we got started. Alot of people start out as skeptics, but it is up to us to let them know and to show them, that they did the right thing.
